For over two decades, Lied Discovery Children's Museum has served the children and families of Southern Nevada, providing a vibrant and engaging environment that sparks curiosity and inspires exploration. The next step is to take this museum From Now to WOW by creating a brand new, world-class, 21st century DISCOVERY Children's Museum, creating the pinnacle it is destined to be -- Nevada's premier informal educational resource.

A Grand Groundbreaking
On November 16, 2010, under a warm desert sun, we broke ground in Symphony Park for the new Donald W. Reynolds Discovery Center adjacent to The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. City and community leaders joined the museum's Board of Trustees, staff and supporters for this exciting new beginning. The new building will be three stories tall and 58,000 square feet, almost twice the size of the existing museum. Read More About DISCOVERY
